Review by hotel critic
Staying at Riad Bab Aylen was quite an experience that balanced luxury with notable value. Nestled in the heart of Marrakech, this five-bedroom riad provides a home-like atmosphere with the comforts you'd expect in a boutique hotel. Each spacious bedroom comes with its own full bathroom, and the housekeeping staff ensured everything was spotless during our stay. One standout feature was the rooftop pool, perfect for unwinding while appreciating the stunning sunset skyline - a sight that reminded me of New Zealand's own natural beauty. Bouchra's home-cooked Moroccan meals were a highlight; her culinary skills added a personal touch that elevated our experience. Yassine, our attentive driver, embodied Moroccan hospitality-always just a phone call away. Whether it was a quick shuttle to the medina or help with printing boarding passes at midnight, he went the extra mile. In terms of amenities, the rooftop terrace and outdoor dining area offered a tranquil space to relax. With competitive pricing, Riad Bab Aylen provides an enticing option for travelers looking for a luxurious yet reasonably priced retreat in Marrakech, making it a wise choice for the discerning tourist.
